We recently reported about the gun-ban group Giffords’ plans to donate $15 million to Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris and other anti-gun candidates prior to this fall’s critical presidential election.
Now, at least one pro-freedom organization is fighting fire with fire, as the Second Amendment Foundation (SAF) is launching a new national television commercial warning about Harris’ anti-gun past and her future intentions concerning 2A matters.
According to Alan Gottlieb, SAF founder and executive vice president, the 60-second ad is set to air on Fox News, Fox Biz, CNN, MSNBC, HLN, Weather Channel, CNBC, Bloomberg, BBC America, World Fishing, History Channel, TBN, AHC, Outdoor Channel, Game Show, RFD, OANN, Direct TV and DISH TV, as well as other networks.
“Not only are we reminding America that radical Second Amendment-hating politicians have said repeatedly that ‘nobody is coming after your guns,’ but now we’re warning that Biden and Harris want to move fast, to accomplish that very thing,” Gottlieb said in a press release announcing the advertisements. “It is imperative we get this message out, now that Biden is leaving office and Harris is the presumed nominee to replace him in the presidential campaign.”
The commercial, according to Gottlieb, is one in a long series of advertisements the organization has aired to war n of the danger of
“This is the 18th national TV spot SAF has run as part of our legacy of liberty campaign,” he said. “We have run more national television advertising than any other Second Amendment advocacy group since Joe Biden took office because it is imperative we educate the public about this ongoing threat to their fundamental rights.”
Gottlieb said that the public needs to know that Harris has been complicit in all of the anti-gun schemes that President Joe Biden has foisted upon lawful gun owners over the past four years.
“Now that Kamala Harris has entered the spotlight, she takes full ownership of the Biden-Harris gun-ban plan,” he said. “Last year she was appointed to be the administration’s ‘gun czar’ overseeing the White House Office of Gun Violence Prevention. Let’s hope she’s been as inefficient at doing that as she’s been as the ‘border czar.’ In the past she has advocated for mandatory buy-back programs, semi-auto bans, universal background checks, which translate to national gun registration, and more. It’s our job to warn the public about her record.”
